LR Chicken and Pancakes is run by Nick Thomas. It started as a plate of wings and a stack of pancakes. It turned into a place on 12th Street where the neighborhood gets fed and gets hired.

We hire folks coming home after incarceration. I know what it feels like to get looked past, so when somebody wants to work, they get a shot and they get respect with it.

I grew up two streets from this door. I opened it in 2025 in memory of our mama, who we lost in 2021 — right here on the block that raised me.
